This makes the mobile phone suited for safe use in gas / vapor Zone 2 hazardous locations, as well as dust Zone 22 hazardous locations. ATEX Zone 2/22 is the European equivalent for US, NEC Class 1 Division 2 equipment. (C1D2), Class 2 Division 2 equipment (C2D2).
