The explosion proof impact wrench (WR36DE and WR36DF) are originally manufactured by Hikoki former Hitachi / Metabo than converted and certified according to the ATEX directives by Atexxo BV. This makes the cordless battery power Wrench suited for safe use in gas /vapor Zone 2 hazardous locations. ATEX Zone 2, 3G equipment is the European equivalent for US, NEC Class 1 Division 2 equipment. (C1D2).

All features of the original product are preserved and can be used safely at hazardous locations.
The ATEX impact wrench can be ordered as a set with Body, Battery and Charge Station, and optional with additional spare batteries. These powerful EX proof wrenches are standard equipped with 4 predefined auto-stop timer functions to actively prevent the overtightening or breaking of bolts and a reverse rotation auto-slow function to prevent dropping nuts.
